Belom seminggu di jogja, pipi gue kembali bakpao -____- muree sekali makanan minuman disini, miris kalo inget harga makanan minuman di jakarta-depok. Rp3.000 aja udah dapet soto sama nasi. Ihik.

Tomorrow I’ll go to Jogjakarta by train. This is my first time going to somewhere so far away (approx 10 hours) by economic train. Economic train, which is not comfortable and insecure, is only cost 40k something. Me, Olivia, and Dini want to try traveling in backpacker way. All things must be in low budget. We’ll stay at cheap hostel that located in Sosrowijayan (near Malioboro)....

There’s an elderly man who comes into my work every day and buys ten bottles of perfume, gift wraps them, and spends the rest of the day walking around and giving them to people who “look sad.” His wife passed away so he uses the money that he would have spent on her to buy presents for strangers. It’s the sweetest thing. I’ve been holding back tears all day. :’)
